This Read Me contains information about the PCI DDK and the CardBus DDK.
Starting with this issue of the “Developer CD Series Mac OS SDK”, you will be seeing a convergence of information between these two DDK CDs. The PCI DDK has some new items with many obsolete items removed. The PC Card SDK has been renamed the CardBus DDK. The intent is to make these DDKs as stand-alone as possible so those developers without a network connection can still develop for these technologies. In coming releases, DTS engineering will continue to review the DDK contents for completeness and we will be adding new items.
The PCI DDK has new or revised:
• Tokenizer
• Display Name Registry
• A sample Forth serial driver.
• Updated Binding IEEE 1275
• Designing PCI Cards and Drivers for Power Macintosh Computers
The CardBus DDK has new or revised:
• Display Name Registry
• Designing PCI Cards and Drivers for Power Macintosh Computers
Many older or obsolete items have been removed. Look for updates and additions for Apple NewWorld computers.
The Power Management DDK is being updated and will appear on our ftp site soon. It will also be included in future updates for these two DDKs. Here is the URL to the ftp site:
